Brian Brackenbury - Product Development Leader with Gentex Corporation

Engineer Brian Brackenbury is an accomplished product development leader who serves as director of product line management at Gentex Corporation in Michigan. In this role, he works with directors across the company to break down organizational hurdles and bring positive change to development processes. He built a product line management organization that facilitated road maps and product portfolios in a way that supported corporate growth targets. Brian Brackenbury previously served Gentex Corporation as director of connected products and sensing, where he led product development teams in early concepts, feasibility studies, and prototype proof of concepts.

Brian Brackenbury earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Michigan State University and a master’s in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan. Over the course of his career, he has held positions with automotive companies General Motors Corp, ITT Automotive, TRW Automotive Electronics Group, and DaimlerChrysler Corporation. He also served in several roles at Johnson Controls, Inc., where he was the single point engineering leadership for various infotainment and connectivity programs.
